A blond has been hiding that she’s a lesbian from her parents for years
She has always been scared that they wouldn’t accept her like many other parents do. She was speaking about it to her best friend, who is familiar with her parents.
Her friend said “Are you serious? I thought they knew already, why wouldn’t they accept you? Just tell them today”.
The blond was nervous but decided to take her friend’s advice.
During dinner that evening, she began to open herself to her parents.

Male gorillas are super aggressive and territorial. Also they interpret nearly every human mannerism as a sign of aggression or a challenge. Smiling and eye contact are both things that zookeepers have to be taught to suppress when they’re in the vicinity of gorillas.

This is all irrelevant because the obvious answer is five black mambas. I mean, that’s not actually very many snakes, and malls are fucking huge. And unlike a gorilla you can definitely outrun a snake if it does show up. Find an open space in the mall where you can see any snake coming and just hangout out there. Fucking easy.
Misguided! I would much rather have a mallmate I can easily see and hear coming. I'm confident I can stay out of the gorilla's way, but if I step on a snake or one otherwise gets the jump on me, it's all over.
It's not just about the physical danger either, it's about my mental health. One gorilla, unless he's actively mad at me, I just keep a healthy distance between us and make sure I never get trapped. With the snakes, it requires a lot more constant vigilance
They should substitute "chimpanzee" for "gorilla" in this hypothetical.

Black mambas have a reputation build on being very venomous and very fast. I'm not sure why you would think you could outrun one (or five) in an enclosed space like a mall.
Malls usually have pretty slick floors, and escalators. I’d choose the gorilla simply because I think that would make an more interesting story (and a better-selling autobiography, I Survived the Mall Gorilla) but I think I’d stand a pretty good chance at avoiding the mamba. They’re fast and aggressive and will chase you but unless we started immediately beside each other I think my sneakers would have the terrain advantage over scutes.

It’s not turn-based but there is actually a game that is 100% this.
It’s called Kingsway, and it’s an active-time-battle roguelite. And it’s designed to look AND PLAY like windows 95. And I don’t mean it plays like a windows 95 game, I mean it plays like the operating system itself. Window management is a key part of the game! Often you have to juggle many windows and pop-ups to avoid getting hit or curses or whatever.
Like, when they cast a curse on you, it pops up as a small dialog box, often behind the main window, and you have only a few seconds to click AVOID to it.
The game doesn’t pause when you do inventory management, and you often have to manage a lot of bags at once. That’s hard to do in real-time, since each one is a separate window. The game uses the Windows 95 UI as part of the difficulty!
It’s a lot of fun and I highly recommend trying it out. Currently 10$ on steam, often drops down to like 5$ when there’s a sale. Check it out.

This chart is several years old and I've been in and out of the girlsekai community so I don't have the freshest recs, but some others:
- What if you isekaied. What if you kept isekaing. What if you kept isekaiing the same exact year, as the same exact person, trapped in the same plot that would murder you (often brutally) on the exact same day? At some point you'd have to become a serial killer, right? Resetting Lady = Finally someone makes a girlsekai horror story
- What if (the above) except it was a silly comedy? If You Lay A Hand On My Brother, You're All Dead
- Some moony-eyed girl keeps dying during a zombie apocalypse and initially thinks it's some divine test of her devotion to her man. Except honestly. Is he worth this. Do I know this guy enough to warrant the trauma I've woken up to a thousand times. Survive Romance is shockingly more about friendship than anything
- The first few chapters of My Mom Entered a Contract Marriage - you are the abused daughter of a fallen villainess - once the hottest royal bitch in the kingdom, she's now a commoner, an alcoholic, and extremely bitter. One day she wakes you up, screaming that she's burning. She's shocked you're alive, sobbing and begging your forgiveness. Tbh this is one that's more fun if you've read a lot of princess isekais, because fans will totally pick up on what happened, but her child cannot. Visual treat, I stopped reading because I don't trust artists like this to last long. But what a starter it was!
- The Holy Grail of Eris - we need more Scarlet Castiels. Look at me when I talk to you, I don't care if you don't like me type princess. If only she could possess us all

Mods that won't reopen subreddits are getting replaced with more cooperative mods, so some subreddits are reopening but turning everything in the subreddit to NSFW mode. Basically everything appears to be NSFW from the outside, but it's just a method of keeping ads off of the subreddit, making sure the subreddit doesn't profit reddit.
Anyways that's why it seems at a glance that r/maryland has gotten so much sexier.
